Cloughbawn GAA Club have registered for the Ireland Lights Up 2024 initiative. This starts from Jan, with the aim to have an organised walk at least once a week for all the community at the club grounds. We are aiming to have walks in Cloughbawn on Thurs evenings and every Thurs evening thereafter until March.
A separate Healthy Clubs Steps Challenge runs for the first 5 wks of the Get Ireland Walking initiative also. Walkers need to track their steps via the MyLife App and join the Steps challenge under Cloughbawn Gaa Club on the App. Clubs who record 4,000km completed in the period are entered into a draw with other clubs in their respective province. 3 prizes of €2,500, €1,500 and €1,000 O'Neills vouchers to be won per province. We completed this last year also, and Cloughbawn
is now on the App for selection to add to the challenge.
